Product Review: Tarte EmpasEYES Waterproof Clay Shadow/Liner
Up until I started school I shunned and hid away from gel liner, I thought it would be so difficult to learn how to manage it. But really, for me it is a lot easier than using a regular eye pencil. One day in class a friend of mine let me try it out, recommended it and HOLY MOLEY!! This stuff is a god send, I use this everyday and hardly any of it has been used out of the pot! It comes in a glass pot with a plastic cap with a cute little flower on it and TARTE in a cute font. The colour that I am using at the moment is the black one, but now that I know what its like this is my go-to eye liner. I plan on getting it in every shade available.
The colour pay off is amazing, the pigments used in this formulation was a real eye opener. Now I know why some people are willing to spend the big bucks on a product such as these. Its made out of Amazonian Clay which in my opinion seems to be a trend in products this year but wow, there is a big difference in this formulation then the ones I have noticed in others. The colour does not get washed out whatsoever. It lasts me all day and late into the evening because of my school hours. The only time it has ever creased is when I forgot to set my makeup and with the fact that I have very oily lids. Otherwise its works like a charm.
A good thing about Sephora is that they post a need to know about the product and the following is the list of ingredients that they provided of ingredients that ARE NOT in this particular product.
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan
So in my opinion this product gets a 12 out of 10. Which is really rare in my book. Since I've started school I have become much more particular about the products that I use on myself and would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new eyeliner. I'll never use a pencil again if it can be avoided.
But yeah, that is my review on the Tarte EmpasEYES Waterproof Clay Shadow/Liner, if you have the chance to pick it up, DO IT!!

Product Review: Tarina Tarantino Green-Tone Corrective Powder
Okay everyone, so the product being chosen for the first product review is the Tarina Tarantino Green Tone Corrective Powder. I have to say that this product is AMAZING!! I have a lot of trouble with redness in my skin and this powder helps even out my skin so much. Never have I found a product that I recommend to people on a daily basis, until now. Now I tried to find information about it online but cannot seem to find any so I guess its up to me to spread the word.
My skin is both touch and chemical sensitive but this product doesn't effect my skin whatsoever. A little goes a long way, and covers the red like there is no tomorrow. I hate my skin, I honestly never saw a point in putting makeup on because of the redness that just would not go away.
Now this product comes in a pink bejeweled compact with the green powder inside. It might appear like a cream but I assure you that it is not. Me and cream/liquid correctors do not work well together. Its very light weight, even when you try to build up the coverage which is also great about this product. YOU control the finished appearance of it. Not the formulation itself. But if you want to pack it on if you have a lot of redness like I do, then I recommend doing it in good lighting or by a window with a good mirror on a sunny day. Otherwise you might appear green when you go outside.
Now thanks to this miracle product I manage to put on a face for school everyday. I received this product as a gift so I don't have any ingredient information but as soon as I find it I will post an update. Pictures will be taken tomorrow and added to this post, I would right now but its 12am and I really don't want to waste this awesome product.
So if you're like me and have sensitive skin with redness issues, I recommend that you pick up this product and let me know how it works for you.

On this blog I hope to post links to my youtube channel, product reviews, and research about new products that are up and coming. Feel free to click the email link if you're not on here regularly and still wanna see what is going on on my blog and stick around for my first official blog post over the next couple days.
Have a great long weekend!
